Hermetic Science's first new studio album in 15 years now available!
Greetings, Hermites.
Many thanks to those of you who have waited years and years while I said that Hermetic Science was eventually going to release a new studio album.
Today, 15 years and 4 months since Hermetic Science released its fourth studio album, we finally dropped our fifth studio album. It is called "Deliria: A Chronicle of 2020." It contains 9 tracks, 43 minutes of music. The CD is a six-panel gatefold featuring art by Paul Whitehead, the famed Charisma Records house artist of the 1970s best-known for his album covers for prog rock powerhouses Genesis and Van der Graaf Generator. It features a brash new lineup of the band that represents a generational shift, with yours truly on keyboards, Jeff Ruiz on bass (and vocal effects), and Travis Strong on drums and percussion. It is by some measure the heaviest and darkest Hermetic Science album, with the music drawing on styles as disparate as 60s hard bop, 80s and 90s metal, trance, and horror movie soundtrack motifs to convey the madness, horror, and mayhem of 2020 with pitiless detail. I could go on and on, but I'll stop here: you can check the music out for yourself.
Please consider streaming our new music on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or your favorite streaming platform. If you collect CDs, please consider ordering a CD directly from us at www.hermeticscience.com. The CD will soon be available for purchase on amazon.com as well.
