Másóminù; which translates to "Don't throw me away" is a global urban youth empowerment and charity organization based in Brooklyn, (expired link). This organization is formatted to maximize the involvement of the local communtiy, system, government, as well as the global music community; on ways to better serve as well as empower the under privileged youths of the world. With the use of the Hip-Hop music and culture which they readily relate to on a global level, Másóminù intends to not only awaken their inner creativity but also awaken their social and global awareness.
Mission Statement:
Másóminù's soul mission is to help poor and under privileged kids of the world, develop a clearer understanding of the social, political, and economic factors affecting their lives. Másóminù is here to strengthen the awareness of the poor and under privileged kid worldwide. The potential power to control their own lives simply because they are the future of their country is what motivates Másóminù.
