Writing since the age of 9 and recording at the age of 18, 2gRoSs biggest influences were Nas, 2Pac, Biggie, Styles P (the whole LOX) and Prodigy of Mobb Deep. Born in Washington Heights, New York City, raised in The Bronx. 2gRoSs has seen the harsh realities of life at a early age. Growing up without a father, due to him being incarcerated for distributing narcotics, 2gRoSs had to learn about survival and how to protect his manhood on his own as an adolescent. Never did he live in a stable home, always bouncing around different neighborhoods in The Bronx. Having once experienced being homeless at the age of 13, he always appreciated the values of having a bed to sleep in. Dropping out of school at a early age, led him to begin almost falling into the same trap as his father. He decided to take a trip down to Arkansas at 18, to witness his childhood friend graduate High School. Spending a summer in Arkansas, he met his soon to be wife, Daisy, who completely changed his life around and made a big impact in his life for the better.
