The sample in the beginning doesn't match. The melody and hook is dope. The flow is unique. Not sure why he dissed the real 8Ball though. At some points during the verses, it kind of sounded like he was reading....not that much though. Overall the song is pretty good. I think a collab would be dope.

The intro was definitely too long! Also, the intro went right into the song, which was to quickly. Learning to ease into each part of the song, be it intro, the first verse, the pre-hook, hook/chorus, etc., would help. Lastly, making sure to stay on temp & beat. There were a lot of off parts, as well as improper mixing & mastering. When the song did come on, it wasn't bad but definitely could've been a lot better with my patience, attention to detail & less profanity, which should only be used when making a point.

professional arrangement, mixing, authoring. i can hear you clearly even as i'm on cheap headsets, lol. great production and lyrics are on point. its easy to relate to this and i can play it on repeat.

The intro reminded me of a Guy Ritchie film, and it may be a clip of one actually. That was pretty cool. The hook is a little muddy, kind of hard to make out the words. Might need to clean it up a little bit. The verses were decent, but could be a bit more on point. I feel like the lyrics were a bit wordy at times, where lines ran together and needed to be fine tuned more to avoid going off beat.

Sounds cool. The beat was knocking. I like the Harmony and singing as the hook goes. Though, the delivery could use a little work. It seemed like you had a good flow started, and then it jumped around, and then tried to come back where it seemed like it didn't make sense. Sounded like it was a little off beat. Which I understand as of late wrapping offbeat is okay but when you start sounding like you're ready to run the gauntlet of a flow and then you lose it that takes away from the song itself. Other than that. I wouldn't mind working with you, it's the legend KC and I approve this message.

We listened to the song "8ball - 8ball - Their Obsession" we really enjoyed the hook and thought it was a nice touch. We would like to hear them on an exclusive beat as we feel their music can be pushed farther. Keep mastering the craft. Good job.

This track was dope it flowed very nice. Lyrics were spot on. I’m not to much into all of the drugs and all but everyone has there thing. It’s a great track can’t say anything bad about it. Finally some real HipHop to review on here! There's alot of people doing it all wrong but every once in a while a gem is discovered. This track came close to having the complete package of a perfect HipHop /rap song. The beat and vibe was golden era and the Rap flow and voice was on point. The instrumental was accompanied by ambient sound effects and overall created the mood for a true banger! The lyrics were abstract and storytelling without the use of profanity and typical mainstream dialogue. This is real art and I genuinely enjoyed the listen. Would have gave it 5 stars if there was tight record scratching turntablism involved as well. Overall this is the best song so far I've encountered on this site to review. You definitely keep up on political issues and history, controversy plus pain.....Just slow the flow or another breathing mechanism. Also a M.C that has a lot to say doesn't have to put it all on 1 song. You can cut half of your sentences on the tracks and still have enough for punch lines, vocals, skits etc...But definitely all critism makes one pro. So try more on stage performances as well. See if you can do it clear in front of the people

Very captivating introduction. maybe have a little shorter intro because of radio restrictions. The song is quality and is enticing i would just introduce the song different. Different style.

I got to give 8Ball props once again for an awesome track. This artist is really pushing for a chance to do great things in the music industry. His lyrics are on point and his message is clear. He also has awesome hooks and beats to even it all out. The versatility shown in his work is also a plus. As an artist I value good music and I must say 8Ball has it going on in his tracks. Their obsession is just another song I like I support this artist and hope they keep it coming.
