First off this beat is sicc. Once you stop vibing out to the music you hear the lyrics and it makes you look inward to answer questions. What's most important thing for an artist to do? Which your doing and that's having a connection with you and your fans. I appreciate the lyrics and having real rap consciousness. It's good to party but you need tracks that fans can relate to. The lyrics I give a 7 and the beat and 8.5 it's only a matter of time when you put it all together and use more in-depth vocabulary. First the technical stuff. producer have what we call the twenty-three second rule....to keep a listener interested you need a transition point by that time in a song . So at about twenty seconds you introduce that electro sweeping sound. Perfect , and it takes off from there. Your vocals are smooth ,and accurately times .Your double timing over the track is really like jazz, the entire rhythmic feel of the kick , the track , and the rapper is like jazz. Now to top it all off is the half time break for the hook, that really works . Especially because it allows the repetitiveness of the track, comes off as hypnotic ,instead of boring . Overall great job, I reall ,really like this one.
