Thank you for continuing to listen to our music. HeavenBound has been incognito for almost an entire year. I was caring for my father who was battling cancer. He recently won his battle and is resting with the Lord. The following cleanup has been staggering. However, we will be moving forward and writing more songs and we know that we are due to get in the studio and put it on wax.

First thank you so much for listening to HeavenBound. Our song Peace Be Still was trending for several weeks in a row and we have been in the top 10 on the Reverbnation charts several times. This was all because of you. We do not take your support for granted. We appreciate every fan and every person who has signed up to be on our mailing list. We will continue to pray for God’s blessing over your lives.

Something you may not know is that we have signed with Tate Music Group to work on our new cd, The Best of HeavenBound, which will be out in late 2013. This cd will include some jazz, a little rap and some R&B. We have also added some songs that have been in our portfolio but have never been released. I cannot wait for you to hear the song that my husband dedicated to me early in our marriage.

We have just returned from Nicodemus Kansas and Oklahoma City. Our engagement in Nicodemus was very educational. For those of you that do not know of Nicodemus; Nicodemus was settled by freed slaves in the late 1800’s and there are still residents living in the city to this day. Every year they have a homecoming celebration for descendants, friends and family of everyone who called Nicodemus home. This also extends to visitors. We had a ball! This is an event that you do not want to miss. In Oklahoma City we completed a video and photo shoot. I can tell you one thing….It was HOT!!! We are from Denver and the humidity practically killed us…well me anyway. When we visited Oklahoma City we went to the memorial for the Oklahoma City bombing and we were left speechless. I find it difficult to understand how there can be so much evil in the world. I guess I shouldn’t be shocked the world is full of sin. Please remember to pray for this world and its condition.

Actually, I have so much to share with you regarding HeavenBound, our journey and my struggle with Lupus but I will save it for my next letter. Thank you so much for listening! Please continue to share our music with your friends.

I am 81 and still sing praises to God!!!



I am a 81 year old great-grandmother and I have been singing
since I was at the Youth choir in 1948 at a church called St Matthew located in Memphis Tn. My pastor was Rev. (expired link). Harper. This means I have been singing for 64 years! I have always enjoyed singing and praising God. Like the song I sang “ I have been running for Jesus a long time and I’m not tired yet”, I am ready to continue singing until God tells me to stop. I just love the engagements when we sing praises to God and I love HeavenBound, I know that God put us together. It also helps that my daughter and son-in-law lead the group.



Some people wonder where I get the energy to sing like I
do…my answer is that it is through the grace of God who gives me strength to move forward, praise Him and spread His word through song. His Holy Spirit guides me and sings through me. It is not me who sings but the Lord who carries me through his song.

We would like to thank you for your continued support of our ministry. We are in the final stages of ccompleting our second album.

My wife and I write songs together. She composes the lyrics, and I work on the music. Teasingly, we debate over the tempo, especially on the more upbeat songs

I started songwriting as a teenager,coming up with gospel lyrics to secular music, then learned to write gospel songs.

My wife began with poetry, which later turned into music.

I thank God for imparting ideas to us for our songs. He is THE songwriter, we just take dictation. What a privilege to sing God's praises!!!

Hello HB friends. Can u believe it February is already gone and one my favorite month just passed. Why is March one of my favorite month's? A couple of reasons, my son was born on March 31st and he and his beautiful, smart wife celebrated their wedding anniversary on March 1st. It seems like yesterday that they were married. I can't believe it's been 5 years already. I remember vividly the uncharacteristic 70 degree day and then the very next day it snowed non-stop all day. The sudden change in the weather from one day to the next makes me realize that God is so good in sunshine,rain or snow. He will never leave you nor forsake you. You are never alone. Hallelujah!

From Eunice, Lead singer and soprano...Praise God from whom all blessing flow! Praise God for our many, many, fans! What a blessing! The Lord has blessed HeavenBound so much that the enemy can’t stand it!! I discovered I had breast cancer in the beginning of 2012. Through the emotional roller-coaster of the illness & tragic world events, I am reminded in 2 Corinthians 10:4-“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” Battles of the mind, body, and soul - only God can control! Well, I asked to be healed and I believe that God healed me!! I believe God’s Word is true! Let God handle it all!!! When depressed, Praise God! When sick, Praise God!! Praise God in any situation and believe me, you will feel so much better!!!! Here we are in 2013, keep on praising God!! Make that choice to Praise God through it all!!!!
