Friends, First thank you so much for listening to HeavenBound. Our song Peace Be Still was trending for several weeks in a row and we have been in the top 10 on the Reverbnation charts several times. This was all because of you. We do not take your support for granted. We appreciate every fan and every person who has signed up to be on our mailing list. We will continue to pray for God’s blessing over your lives. Something you may not know is that we have signed with Tate Music Group to work on our new cd, The Best of HeavenBound, which will be out in late 2013. This cd will include some jazz, a little rap and some R&B. We have also added some songs that have been in our portfolio but have never been released. I cannot wait for you to hear the song that my husband dedicated to me early in our marriage. We have just returned from Nicodemus Kansas and Oklahoma City. Our engagement in Nicodemus was very educational. For those of you that do not know of Nicodemus; Nicodemus was settled by freed slaves in the late 1800’s and there are still residents living in the city to this day. Every year they have a homecoming celebration for descendants, friends and family of everyone who called Nicodemus home. This also extends to visitors. We had a ball! This is an event that you do not want to miss. In Oklahoma City we completed a video and photo shoot. I can tell you one thing….It was HOT!!! We are from Denver and the humidity practically killed us…well me anyway. When we visited Oklahoma City we went to the memorial for the Oklahoma City bombing and we were left speechless. I find it difficult to understand how there can be so much evil in the world. I guess I shouldn’t be shocked the world is full of sin. Please remember to pray for this world and its condition. Actually, I have so much to share with you regarding HeavenBound, our journey and my struggle with Lupus but I will save it for my next letter. Thank you so much for listening!
