I am 81 and still sing praises to God!!! I am a 81 year old great-grandmother and I have been singing since I was at the Youth choir in 1948 at a church called St Matthew located in Memphis Tn. My pastor was Rev. H.H. Harper. This means I have been singing for 64 years! I have always enjoyed singing and praising God. Like the song I sang “ I have been running for Jesus a long time and I’m not tired yet”, I am ready to continue singing until God tells me to stop. I just love the engagements when we sing praises to God and I love HeavenBound, I know that God put us together. It also helps that my daughter and son-in-law lead the group. Some people wonder where I get the energy to sing like I do…my answer is that it is through the grace of God who gives me strength to move forward, praise Him and spread His word through song. His Holy Spirit guides me and sings through me. It is not me who sings but the Lord who carries me through his song. Thank you so much for listening to our music.
