Hi everyone!

Well I'm finally getting off my ass and doing something to update this site...

I just uploaded a song by John Grover called "Elevator", which is from John's most recent release called "Country Time". I'm not known for having been much of a country music fan in my life, however over the last 20 years I had several situations that required me to become more open and appreciative of the genre. This album is an intentional compilation of John's most country music influenced style of writing. Most of his material isn’t what you would describe or label as "country", but this was him committing to releasing the majority of his most country sounding songs.

On this song "Elevator" (and on most of the songs on this album) I'm playing bass, singing all the backing vocals (as well as the silly banter and sound effects), and I also had a hand in the production of the album. I'm the drummer on all of the songs.

John is my good friend of about 15 years now, he is a very inspired and clever lyricist, a prolific steam train of a songwriter, and is a pretty damn good guitar player as well. He's a great guy, and also happens to be a gifted builder and has run construction companies for over 30 years as a general contractor.

Right now I'm finishing this post then actually going back to mixing one of the songs for the next release, which will be out very soon!
