An old adage reasons that history always repeats itself. Whether fashion, music or entertainment, if you’ve seen it once, you’ll see it again. But, there’s always anomaly. Meet Josh Roshad, artist, actor and songwriter. Yes, we’ve seen talent and charm packaged in boyish good looks thousands of times, but this reincarnation still possesses an overall je nais se qua that can’t easily fit the predetermined mold.

Headlining stages since the mere age of 5, Roshad knew that he felt warmest and most connected to himself and others under the spotlight. This realization placed him in various productions on stage and screen during his developmental years, and as an opening act for the likes of Joe, Silk and musical forces that he idolized as an adult.

January 2014 ushered in an opportunity that would change Roshad’s career forever. When American Idol presented season XIII he joined the ranks of millions of talented hopefuls looking to spark their career in front of some of the industry’s most well respected. Auditions, rehearsals and ridicule all collided and gave him the push he needed to unapologetically fight his way into the semi-finals.
​The Florida native states, “Entertaining comes as easy to me as breathing. I pull from so many influences and I continue to learn something new, on purpose, everyday.” Now residing in Atlanta, GA., Josh Roshad is readying for a fall release. “It’ll definitely be worth the wait. I’m trying something new and I hope the people that have supported me, continue to help me spread my message to the masses,” he says with a smirk.

At his best, Josh should be idolized. He owns the stage and the microphone helps to amplify his amazing range and control. Josh is a star that only knows how to shine.
