Born 4 January 1990 in Kinshasa, Congo, Sakre (real name Emmanuel Pungi Tayeye) is a music artist from Congo. Sakre faced challenges during he was child his parents separated while he was 3 years old. His mother passed away in 2000 when he 10 years old. His uncle took over and support him to finish his studies.

His challenges made him believe that he could earn something through music, since then, a passion for music began developing. In 2005, he started having interest in music genres such as reggae, hip-hop and RnB. This saw him becoming a member of dance group called Victory dance. Shortly afterwards, he started learning how to sing. He attended church choirs at a local Catholic Church.

In 2008, he wrote his debut song. In 2009, he decided to focus on repeating popular songs sung by great artists like Akon, 2 Face, Lucky dube, Mario. In 2011 recorded her first song "c scare" in 2018" release an EP "Let The story begin" in out a single "Mukusa" His music is sing in Lingala, English and French languages.
