Great song
Great song, awesome intro, the vocals are mixed to where you hear each harmonizing part equally. The song takes you back to the old days of church fellowship. The song is awesome and I hope it goes a long way! Pitch it to some big time quartet singers!

In MY Opinion
Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the message in this song.Think about a music solo break to step away from vocals for a short period in future works. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

Delightful to the ears, but thin on theology
Minister Reginald Marshall's recording of "I Remember" is a delight to the ears. The musicianship is masterful. The sound is smooth as butter, as refreshing as lemonade, clean as water from a mountain stream. It is reminiscent of soul-pop groups from the 70's, like the Sylistics. Mounted on a smooth, cool bed of rhythm, blending keys, scratchy guitar, transparent bass, and even flute in a seamless and picture-perfect mix, the band creates a satisfying and sturdy musical platform for the skilled vocals, including expertly blended 3-part harmony in the background and answering parts. The lyrics are a lament for a by-gone era of worship, when we used to sing a certain way, pray a certain way, and testify. The message is essentially the same as the old classic "Time Has Made a Change." The songwriter doesn't venture to say what the differences are, or why the older way was better, or what happened to cause the loss of the "good old days," or even what we might want to do to recover what was lost, or why we should. So as a message, it just ends up being vague nostalgia, with no theological meat on the beautiful musical bones. Long on style and musicianship, short on substance. Older is not necessarily better. Jesus was clear that you can't put new wine in old wineskins. God is constantly making all things new. All that said, it was a delight listening to this recording, and I want to encourage the Minister to reach deep inside, take a risk, and share a message to reach people where they are today. Your group is like a fine car. Drive it somewhere special. Give us a vision of a better world though the spiritual eyes Jesus gave you, a glimpse into your soul that is part and parcel of His. God bless you and your continued efforts for His kingdom.

Nice track. Vocals come on real nice. I like the lyrics real catchy and rememberable. Sounds like a old school rnb beat with a gospel melody. Like the old hole in the wall type beat but overall i can rock it. Keep pressing and doing God’s work

Beautiful Song.
Great song on a whole from the smooth sounds of the instrumentals to the background vocals as well as the leads. Lyrics were not overtop which is a good thing, or in other words its simplicity was a nice touch to the recording where it makes it singable and easy to learn. Nice use of minor chords to throughout the music by the musicians which entails a great understanding of music theory and structure. Mixing and mastering was on par as well, where I did not hear anything out of the norm. In conclusion, awesome job in creating this recording to the point where it is enjoyable to listen to from time to time. Thanks for sharing and keep writing for the Lord. Roger W.

I Remember Review
Love the Quartet sound...it is a great song great harmony...I think the "The Way We Used to" is a stronger hook for this song. That hook would create greater curiosity. Love the intro but I would shorten the intro on the download version. Overall it a great Song.

Old Skool
I am loving the old skool style. The message is true, we need to get back to old land mark. The church as an whole need to get back into the presence of God, and stop compromising to please the world.

Old School Motown Sound
I always loved this style of music, the harmonizing and the old Motown sound. I like the track and how it speaks is the olden days when humanity was closer to the Lord. We don’t need to keep everything bound to any one style. I believe Gods has placed gifts in each one of our hearts and in His honor we get to explore our different Sykes that cater to different tastes. It is all in honor of our Father ????????❤️

I Remember Review
Very nice harmonies and sweet rhythms. I love the flow of vocals and melodies. It's quite a beautiful rendition and reminiscent of the good ole' classic music of back in the day. A call to remember the old ways of following God and living righteously, I applaud the message in this song and the nice job recording/ arranging.

Great Song
Outstanding song set in a classic R&B setting. Also love the positive message.Great vocals and love this feel good music. This is the type of music that I grew up listening to. Today's music can be hard to listen to sometimes and inappropriate to share with your family. Very pleasing to the ear and extremely thought provoking music.

This is the way we used to sing
This reminds me of the way sweet harmonies used to blend together with smooth tonal voices. And this song has a message that can reach the young and the old. Their is a nice balance between the lead and the background. The words are easy to decipher and the blending between music and vocals are on point.
