No Favors

Hi ALL . Rob here again . Well , We had 1 favourite Record label out of the 5 ( that contacted us ) , & we decided to make a few enquiries to them , until we kinda stalled on 1 point regarding this Label wanting us to Finish the Album , & then they would then Decide whether to sign us ,,, or not . So , the band met up & I suggested that we be Honest with 4 of the labels , & tell them that we had "Other" interest from Different labels , & what could they come up with that would entice us to sign with them . I Particularly wanted any correspondence to include Radio Airplay as a "Given" , as we feel that "Walk Away" would be a real good track for any Radio station . So , the Band met next to discuss the tracks on the Forthcoming Album ,,, & I was Pleasantly surprised , as the Lads chose to record ONLY songs from our last year , & 4 ,or 5 new Tracks . This meant that "Old tracks" were left as they are , with some of them making it onto the No Favors set list . So ,,,,, 10 tracks coming up . Rehearsals start THIS Sunday ( My Birthday - Send cake .lol ) . I will keep you Updated . Thanks for tuning in to All things No Favors .

Hi To you All . A big thank you for Subscribing to our newsletter . Our Vocalist ( Gus ) , is back from his holidays , & we plan a Most Important meeting to discuss the 5 Record deal offers . Ive tried to organise a management firm to meet with us , to Give us Guidance on ALL things that belong to a Recording Contract . If we make a mistake here , & sign away the rights to the songs , then we are in big trouble . So , its good news ,,, but Not done & dusted just yet . Would any of you like me ( Rob ) to remove one song , & Upload another in its place ? .

Rob here , the Slightly Over the top Bass player :) . Its early evening in Stoke-on-Trent , & I've rushed home from work ( I still have a day job , as I started my Mortgage late , after a disastrous break up many years ago ) . Anyway , the reason for my Speedy exit from work , was to check my e-mails to see if we have had any more interest from Record companies .
The reason we are having Interest is because Carl ( Guitarist ) asked me to Read through the British Rock magazine called "Fireworks " , & see if I could find any record companies to send a CD package to , as He Was Useless at ALL things Internet & Techy . So, early sat morning I set about reading this Very Pro magazine , & was "Falling OVER " Record companies . I wrote to 8 ideal companies , & 4 hrs later had 2 replies back . I realised that these record companies were run from a Small office , & the Boss would most certainly be the A&R man ( that's why they answered my e-mail so fast ) . The replies were very Promising , but I was sure that better things would happen from the Record companies that Start work on a Monday ( today ) . WELL ,,,, I was right . Only 1 relpy today , but as positive as the last ones . It seems that these companies want Us to hand them the Tracks , then they will release them . Problem is that we have been recording here , & Other places too , so the sound is Totally different . Anyway , I have written back to this German Company , stating that we would like to Record a FULL album , from Both Old , & New songs . So , that's it !! Alls well , & The No Favors Boys are in the driving seat , & were gonna ride this Baby on out !!! . ta ta for now ,, & Thank you so much for Subscribing . well ,,, Its been One hell of a Busy day ( Rob here #LeBassPlayer ) . If ur Interested , then I can go into the Finer details of my Daily routine - Just let me know :) . Anyway , back to todays news . Ive taken it on my Own back ( Cos Carl is Bloody hopeless at the internet/email etc ) , to send out the Latest release ( Walk Away & Naughty Nelly ) , to Quite a few Record Companies ( this was at 4.45am this morning = don't ask ,, its a Loooooong story lol ) . So , 4 Hrs Later , & me e-mail Inbox is beginning to go PING !!
HERE is the Good News ..... The Minimum offer so far ( 3 in total ) is a Multiple Singles release . These offers were from Record companies where the Boss is the guy that is the A&R man ( kinda like a real close nit Set-up ) . They were all advertising & having Albums reviewed in this months Copy of "Fireworks" magazine here in the UK . So , I forwarded the e-mails to my band muccas ,,, & panic has set in ,,,, rolmssfaoa&a :) . You see , we have a few tracks that have GOT to go on any Album release ,,, but they are still under construction here at my Studio ( More PANIC please .lol ) . Anyway ,,, we are meeting up maybe tmz to sort stuff out , & Maybe ,,, Just MAYBE ,,, I will get a Pat on the Back . Chat soon , & thanks for enlisting . be good to each other ,,,,,, Go9ers!!!

If you can see this message , then please tell me if I am doing anything wrong , as I ( rob the Bass player #LeBassPlayer ) haven't used this site before , & its a bit new to me . Also , I see that No Favors have 6 subscribers , to ( possibly , an E-newsletter ) , so what information is usually sent in a E-Newsletter ?
If you like humour ( that's my main thing ..lol ) , then ur gonna love this next little revelation . Our Vocalist ( Gus ) , said to be that Our Band will ONLY appeal to OLD Bald Beer swigging blokes ( men to you American / Canadian Ladies ) !! ,, well , he's gonna be real surprised when he sees who has subscribed /liked the band = Extremely attractive Ladies .lol . So , a BIG thanks for proving Gus , so VERY Wrong . That's it from me . Ive just been working in my Recording studio #DriveStudios . Just visited my parents , & given them supper ( Sandwiches , & a cup of tea etc ) , as they both have Dementia . So , now I am gonna watch a film , & have a Beer .
