The vocals on this track are very commendable but fall between genre classical in style yet the song is very light and bouncy not really operetta and not really poppy the arrangement flows well in a very bouncy light way but this appers to have been recorded live and consquently the instuments in the ensemble are overpowering the vocals to an extent and their volume balance is all over the place and with respect a couple of notes that are not in tune ? vocally Perhaps a rebalance of the EQ would help but I find it a stuggle to get a feel for this piece of work Sorry

Please don't use an opera voice. The rating is the quality of the performance. I'd like you to "whisper-sing." Your performance is perfect but it is like opera. People may prefer a more mellow weed-smoking voice. It is flawless but your microphones, too, may be out of balance. I prefer an entire orchestra with that type of singing. Well done, but, it sounds like a stress, that with the tension of all music to resolve, you may need to just change the chords. I hear 3 songs in this. The tension can be resolved more, to an approachable famous genre, with simply singing with the top part of the throat and not the lower part of the throat. You get 5 stars for the performance and I'd advise that you practice keeping your tongue in and making your mouth into shapes of different vowels and make it into a lot of genres.

Renata Diem and the Sarasvati Ensemble have created an interesting recording about a white angel flying through the sky. The musicianship is solid. The lead singer has an impressive soprano voice, the pianist and percussionist and cellist are all proficient. The group has clearly worked on the arrangement at length. The cello even doubles the vocal melody in spots. I think the recording technique could use some work. It sounds as though the whole thing has been recorded through just one microphone. The result is that some instruments are a little too loud, while the vocal and some other instruments are a little too faint, and the whole thing has a slightly hollow sound. Even though the song is sung in my native language, I could not make out all the words. Perhaps distributing 3 or 4 microphones through the studio would help, as it would provide more control over the balance in the final version of the recording. The musicianship of this group deserves better technical support.

I like Your Voice but The Song has to be rerecorded with much better arrangement and Recording Quality and in the process You will have a chance to correct some notes are off the tune..If the changes are made I see that some RadiStations will play It at Christmas Time.. I'm really liking this! I've not heard anything like this before! Her vocal range is really good! I really liked the last part of the vocal arrangement! My only critique of the vocals is the two notes before the final note that carries the vocals out are a little off. I can't quite put my finger on it but there is a slight discrepancy that is noticeable but other than that, her vocals are really good. Another thing that I really liked is the percussion aspects of it! . They do stand out but not to much as to overwhelm the composition. There is one small part in the percussion where the notes get a little jumbled but the recovery is handled very well. I only wish that I could see the clock running as the song progresses as to be able to pinpoint the exact point of the discrepancy. All in all, I really liked it. I listened to it a few times! :-) LS

This was a pleasant unexpected twist! I have reviewed several types of songs but not this style yet so forgive my innocence. This song sounded like an angel from heaven came down and whispered into my ear. You have a very beautiful voice. I also enjoyed the piano playing. The song was interesting and held my ear. I was impressed at the ending how well you finished. The lyrics were nice and clear. Very well done.

This recording needs to be remixed. the instruments are overpowering the singer. I would suggest simplifying the background instruments, the drums and keyboard so that they support the singer better. This will make a big difference.

substantially the idea of putting together voice and two acoustic instruments is not bad, but I think your tone of voice is not suitable with the instruments you use. the voice and the instruments in your piece are different entities instead of getting married together in a single melody and also the recording does not help seeing its low quality. mine is not a criticism but an incentive to review a little something because I repeat your voice is spectacular

This song seems to come from another time, from another world, and maybe this is the case. The combination of piano and percussion is impressive in its simplicity. So is the voice.
