Djelem, djelem Fel D. review
I am definitely a fan of live music. This Sarasvati Ensemble is playing as if it was on a movie scene on a Tarentino script. If Renata is the singer complimenting the ensemble, then that is a touch that put you into the reason this kind of music still exist from 100's of years ago. I like to hear music that capture you through the feeling of the artistry the conductor and the instrumentalist accompanied by the vocal of a true voice. There is nothing else like it. Thanks ~Fel D

Very famous composition here in very innovative and new arrangement - It is a bit difficult to recognize the original melody - It is really a BIG arrangement ... The music style is appropriate for international audience - So my opinion is that it is worth international try

Moving Energy
Hello Sarasvati! YOU have a beautiful voice full of depth and earnest. Thank you so much for asking me to review your music! It has the feeling of wandering in the grassy mountain tops where the air is pure, and yet has a deep intensity to it as well. As if you are in earnest for a message. The instruments work well with the vocal and make one take notice. Your vocals are the highlight but the instruments do a very fine job and live too! Wonderful !! Thank you so much for sharing with us!! Blessings! Rachel :-)

Beautiful and Out of this world
This song is really beautiful and powerful. Take a good goal range and there's something really raw about it. I like music that relates more to a natural way of composing and performing and this feel very honest in its delivery.

Exotic and beautifully played
A dense and layered piece of music that seems to mix an instrumental piece that would make good movie music with an operatic vocal. Maintains interest throughout despite the lyrics being unintelligible for a mono-lingual English speaker like myself. I don't actually feel qualified to properly evaluate the piece because it is culturally different to what I'm accustomed to, but as to its effect on me, the piece is evocative and dynamic. That it is clearly a live performance adds to its positive impression on me.

unusual and interesting
Very dramatic I could hear this being played as film music. I like the voice operatic but not overpowering. I don't understand the words but I like th atmosphere. I would like to hear some more of your work.

Virtuous acoustic
Four classically trained musicians, dedicated to acoustic live music, gather in a large hall and perform with passion, with apparently just one microphone somewhere across the room, to capture the performance live. This is the signature style of the Sarasvati Ensemble of Renata S. Diem. Their recording of "Djelem, Djelem" begins with accordion and cello playing rhythmically and with a sort of mad passionate energy. After they set the tone, Renata comes in with her soaring operatic soprano voice. These are skillful musicians, who have rehearsed a great deal, playing what appear to be original compositions by Renata Diem. While the group's dedication to acoustic live performance is admirable, music of this quality deserves a better recording process. Setting up just one microphone across the room from the musicians creates a hollow, far-away sound. Since recording requires at least one microphone, you might as well go ahead and add more mics in carefully-chosen spots, so that you can balance and mix the sound to your taste, and give the sound more immediacy and presence. All this is written with admiration for your dedication and artful skill.

The difference
For Singers who want the real thing! As you know the music industry it's getting hard this days, you have about 5 minutes to deliver a message and the first 40 sec, you have to get the attention of the people with the melody of your Voice! and with your music I got scared and frightened , I got confused and embarrass, I feel all mix up! you know what? I did not like it! at all, I got lost! , something important it's missing in your music! no fun at all I was horrified! Don't get me wrong!, but the truth my friend I got bored! and I don't know why? Your words so soft and sweet, I'm guessing? Sorry about that !, but Is my answer in your heart or in your eyes? Salud! God Bless you! Ponxo D' Cannella.

Unfortunate
What a lovely voice but unfortunately I could not get ingot it at all. I felt annoyed by the music, it was like someone scratching on a blackboard. My insides objected to listening as it was grating on my senses. Sorry I don't like writing this review but I always write an honest one. Find a moving melody with beautiful music which supports that powerful voice you have!

Djelem Djelem Review
The song starts out with promise instrumentally. The vocal riffs come in and things sound pretty good. But there are several thing missing. There is no bottom. Everything has a midrange sound because there's no drums or bass. That is needed. It also seems like the vocal melody is too strong sometimes and the melody and music don't seem to work together. The audience seemed to love it however. Perhaps I needed to see it live.

Hi
This is something original.. I'm guessing influence from Armenia ( or something close by )..I like arrangement hey I like It.. it is a life Concert so I'm sure that Actual Recording will be better.. .with a right approaching and marketing will have a chance to be played on some Radio Stations as a Main Stream Music Publishing goes the chance are very small but if You make just Instrumental version who knows.. I wish You good luck with pitching.. Good Job.. I like it..
