Sarasvati Ensemble ..Renata S.Diem ... Lullaby
Classical talent here stings and Soprano voice nice moody track but I don't think it would send me to sleep as the voice peaks it would wake me up not relax . Nice to hear a track stripped back no special effects just pure skills being utilised. I Found this track grows on you after the third listen ... but still I did not fall a sleep if any thing it recharged my batteries. Keep up the good work warmest wishes Stephen

Lullaby
The low tones of the cello or superbass are very soothing and I have never considered this instrument as one to be played in a lullabye. But now that I have heard this instrument in this context it makes perfect sense to include it in a Lullabye Sonata. It reminds me of the song Go to Sleep and Goodnight by Bach. I enjoyed it very much. The vocalist is very accomplished and I found her tone refreshing It sounds more like an Arai than a Lullabye because of the high notes at the end. In eany case, there is much talent to showecase in your Ensemble and I hope to hear much more.

HAUNTING SIMPLICITY
Simple sanguine piece of music where LESS IS MORE Renata's voice on this piece is clear sharp tuneful and positive If I am being super critical Lullaby ? but the title belays the quality and from a recording point of view a little more warmth in the reverb of the Cello ? but beautiful I loved it !

Lullaby
This song is a smooth blend of strings and vocal music that is tasteful and pleasing to the ears. It sounds like a beautiful voice accompanied by a well played cello. It makes me curious for more from this group.

Nicely done but I couldn't fall asleep to it
Sarasvati Ensemble/Renata S. Diem's recording of "Lullaby" is nicely done acoustic classical music, but I can't picture a baby -- or an old man like me, for that matter -- falling asleep to it. It begins with a solo cello, well back from the mic, in what sounds like an empty room, with a substantial amount of reverb, make for a lonely sound. The cello is played very well. After several bars of this, a female opera singer comes in, singing only vowel sounds. The singing is technically solid, but the sound is not soothing. Later, the vocal switches from vowel sounds to words in a foreign (to me) language. Still the mood is to excited to be soothing. So all in all, it's nice music, well performed, but doesn't strike me as a lullaby.

genial
Felicitaciones

Hi
I listen 2 times..I think You should change The Title..after all it is Lullaby..so It has to be much softer and more melodic..I like Your Voice I'm sure it will sound Great in some other song.. I also will make a bigger arrangement to make That Song more complex..as it is is ok to sung It at Life Performances but it will have a hard time to be place It to Radio Stations..I really like to hear Your Voice on some of Classical Master Song when You use a Full Potential of Your Voice..I wish You Good Luck.. Good Job..

For me, Lullaby is not their best piece...
I went to listen to other pieces by the Sarasvati ensemble. In general, I appreciate the sound and the style. Songs like Djelem, Holy Family, Angel blue etc are rich and imaginative. Personally I can not find Lullaby equally interesting. The sound of the cello is beautiful and intense, but the voice, without the support of the other instruments, I find it inaccurate, although the timbre is rich and pleasant. The piece, compared to the other pieces of the ensemble, is not very original and does not capture the attention. In conclusion, the Sarasvati ensemble is very interesting ensemble, but this Lullaby is not their best piece

Mixture of Classical Violin and Opera
This is a classical compostion which isnt bad at all. We have some Violin playling and some schooled classical voice...but....with the length of a popsong. This is kinda interesting, to produce a classical piece of music and use the lengtlike barock. I would be interested in the translated lyrics. The voice hits very high notes, which isnt easy at al, it is a schooled voice i guess. Maybe i would add another instrument like a bass or cello to make it more complex. i guess i never heard this combination before, must a violin and classical vocals. So, its a kinda new expression here, this is fine. I think to compose classical music is not an easy thing, whereas there just the structure is counting, not the expression of the artist himself. Dont know if Lullaby is the right title here. I would prefer something more spiritual themes, something more like awakening, than sleeping. I think the deepness in music is one main point. And a lullaby is to trivial in my eyes, especially if you want to do spiritual music. I would suggest to use some deeper and darker themes, some themes which are spirituelly more significant. Could imagine, that this combination of voice and violin good be nice to express some ot the deeper and more complex themes, and maybe more darker themes. But, this is my point of view, where my tradition is more on the things coming from beyond and from places we usually dont know or see, so i call them dark. But its a nice work, fine to listen to, only the very high vocals tones are to sharp sounding. And, my respect again to compose classic music.

INDIA MY SOUL
Listening this track I remember my journey to India I made 50 years ago and I become more happy. Renata should continue her research and must perform as much as possible to give to the audience happiness. Love Matteo

yes
I have made reviews to many of your pieces and what a little binds them is an invisible thread that you can only perceive by listening to the whole. you do not sing because you want to become famous or because you look for success but only because you feel pushed by an inner energy that leads you to have to communicate your emotional states. you sing because you feel the bearer of a message and because you have the task of divulging it. I guessed?

opera
It could be appropriate to have an instrument *violin, or other super string or spiritual one that could be in cohesion with the high vocal pitch in order to resonate and augment with the mids and lows of the composition.
