RESOLUTE

Resolute is a half Swiss, half Swedish emcee that was born and raised in Elgin, Illinois. However, it was on the Chicago hip hop scene where he began to flourish as a renowned freestyle lyricist and years later, a recording artist. In 2010, Resolute began looking at music from a larger business standpoint, creating a network of international connections, studying while shaping his plan of action and further visualizing what he wants to represent through his music. Resolute began to travel around the US, Canada and Mexico absorbing his unique life experience while gaining notoriety internationally.

Resolute is an emcee that hails from Chicago, IL and released his debut album "The Last Horizon" on June 25, 2014. The eleven track album reflects heavily on two core elements of the genre; emceeing & DJing via Resolute & DJ Kwestion of Jedi Mind Tricks.

Released on February 24th, 2015 is Resolute's 2nd album "Endless Winter", created in full collaboration with Brooklyn emcee/producer June Marx, with Chicago's own, DMC champion DJ Ambideckstriks on the turntables. The EP captures the mind state of determined souls prevailing over the harsh realities of present day living, shedding light on the deep mental aspects they follow involving survival, honor and perseverance amid the "Endless Winter".


Resolute's style is based purely on the unique individual that he has become today, his methods of survival and his quest for wisdom and freedom amid the chaotic journey that life is. Resolute is also well known for his adventurous spirit inspiring his worldwide travel missions and leaving an undeniably powerful impact in all of the places he visits.




THE LAST HORIZON


The Last Horizon's specially crafted soundscape captures the essence that Resolute embodies. The album offers deep insight into Resolute's style which focus's specifically on the experience that makes him the unique, yet balanced individual he is.

Handling the majority of scratches throughout the album, acting as Resolute's personal choice DJ from this point and beyond, is Jedi Mind Tricks own DJ Kwestion on the turntables.

Featuring a stellar production ensemble such as, Memoriza & Panik of Chicago’s infamous Molemen crew, BBZ Darney, a young rising producer and all around explosive prodigy from Sweden (who also crafted the album’s design), Enemy Soil/Grimreaperz member Crown representing France, the vibrant and classic styled sounds of Mr. Green, & military specialist June Marx, both from Brooklyn, New York, Switzerland’s own premier production team Symphonik Bang, Anno Domini producer Vherbal from (expired link). and the well renowned head of Shinigamie Records, Kyo Itachi from France.

The 1st is a rare collaboration featuring Resolute and Nas’ partner in crime, the legendary AZ of The Firm featured on Illmatic’s “Life’s A Bitch", on the track titled "Only Natural", which displays Resolute and AZ going back to back with their similar yet unique vision on what they consider to be important in life today, plus the gems of wisdom that have been revealed to and gained by them throughout their current lifetimes.

The 2nd one being on the track titled "The Last of Us" which showcases Resolute and June Marx blending their styles cohesively about the understanding of the mission and modern warfare that life around us truly is.




ENDLESS WINTER


The "Endless Winter" EP was released on February 24th, 2015. The "Endless Winter" was created by Resolute, Brooklyn emcee/producer June Marx, and Chicago's own DMC champion DJ Ambideckstriks on the turntables. The EP features Resolute and June Marx going back to back on 5 of the 7 album tracks, capturing the mind state of determined souls prevailing over the harsh realities of present day living. The EP sheds light on the deep mental aspects they follow involving survival, honor and perseverance amid the "Endless Winter".

Freezing, Merciless winds blow across desolate landscapes. A never ending blizzard covers the land in snow. It takes determination, strength and the will to survive to make it in this modern world. "Endless Winter" captures the mind state of determined souls enduring the harsh realities of present day living. The album is a mixture of modern warfare tactics, introspective street tales and personal reflections.

Producers on the project include Memoriza from Chicagos Molemen, Stoma Emsi of Italy, BBZ Darney from Sweden, June Marx and Symphonik Bang from Switzerland. The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered at Fallout Shelter Studios in Chicago, Illinois.

Upon release of "Endless Winter" Resolute & June Marx formed and executed the mission of "The Heavy Artillery Tour" throughout the mid-western and southern (expired link). with their first group tour run. "The Heavy Artillery Tour" is now available for booking worldwide.
