Sumikco Holmes "Sumikco" was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. As a child she was introduced to a world of music such as Hip Hop, R&B, R&B/Soul, Pop and Rock. She was most influenced by R&B/Soul which stands as her strong point today. Her inspirational artists are Patti LaBelle, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, Erykah Baduh, Jill Scott and the list continues. Now writing her own original songs, she hopes to capture the true essence of R&B/Soul.
