Song Reviews

Dress me slowly I'm in a hurry

Voices distorted and treated with computer programs lose all veracity and all the warm timbre of the only instrument whose strings can not be replaced. The recording of the voice should not be barely manipulated, and in this case, it is so deformed that it seems that a machine is the one who interprets the theme. That's the first thing that catches your attention, and it should not be like that. All sounds are artificial and taken from programmed bases and sound banks. The melody would be much more pleasant if it were naked, without much artifice. The ornaments made on the melody of the voice, mislead too much and take you to another place. The choirs give solidity and packing, and fit well. Rhythmically the base is pulling the letter and the voice, and it should be just the opposite. It gives a sensation of dragging and being excessively rushed, as the subject asks for something else, and the letter piles up unnecessarily.

Strawberry Girl

This modern song has all the qualities of a hit. Great music, great lyrics, hooks and sweet production. The mixture of digital sounds and percussion, give the overall sound a samba flavour. There is space for the listener to appreciate the subtle layers but also the lyrics keep it light and up beat. The use of vocal processing is well used and especially the pans of vocals I thought where very impressive. Great job sir ! Peter Newton

Excellent vibe, tasteful use of tech, and rythym

I didn't know what to expect from this tune but was subject to a genre-widening experience with this tasteful song that blended many elements into a dessert of a mild dance tune. You can definitely hear the ethnic influence, the subdued intricate rhythms, and the mingled lyrical phrasings; they all work well with the beats and occasional special effects. Kudos to the performers, and the songwriter; they made this listener appreciate different fare than they would normally listen to in just the first listen. Cheers!

Bien

It sounds very good, very good melody, good voice, good choirs, good music. The voice sounds like Africa, I do not think I'm wrong. Good song very animated and well mounted, without instrumental abuse or voice that is often the fault of many songs, everything sounds compensated. Suona molto bene, ottima melodia, bella voce, buoni cori, buona musica. La voce suona come l'Africa, non penso di sbagliarmi. Buona canzone molto animata e ben montata, senza abusi strumentali o voce che è spesso colpa di molte canzoni, tutto sembra compensato.

Unique sounding track

Good elaborated electronic based song. This arrangement characterize extraordinary midi generated effects and versatile percussion grooves. Great mixture of Raggae and Afro-Pop. Impressive sung Rap with digital modulated vocals is an extrafactor what makes the track special. Ambitious arrangement with soft harmonical keyboard sound in the backround brings a hypnotically feel into the music. The digitally mixing and mastering is professionell. Overall a perfect work and arrangement from the composer. He managed an exceptional cool sounding track. Listen to the song and I´m sure you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Tropical sounds

Cheerful melody and a lot of percussion all through the song. Nevertheless I feel the song needs to have a chorus somewhat more outstanding to give it a lift. Perhaps some female vocals to add that extra touch.

Very professional sounding

The vocals really sound professionally done. Awesome job! All of the harmonies and effects that were added sound flawless, which is impressive considering how generously they were applied. I also really like your accent, although I can't quite place it for some reason. I tried to listen carefully to the lyrics, but I still haven't figured out why the song is called "Strawberry Girl" lol.
