About Abby Damon

I grew up in a Christian home in a small town outside Cape Town South Africa. Being the eldest of 4 children, i was always looked at as the big sister. I realised later on that i could sing and became a huge fan of the late great Whitney Houston. I knew most of her songs and couldnt wait for the next chance to sing..Even if i was not allowed to sing or listen to secular music at home.
At the age of 16 while in high school ,i met a man whom my parents warned me against, but being very rebellious at that stage did not listen to them.
The choices i made that time had a whole negative impact on my life. At the age of 28 i started singing secular music professionally as in my heart i always wanted to be a gospel singer. The excitement of being famous has kept me in the dark for almost 20 years.. Years of struggling, having money but it has no meaning. I soon realised that something was missing.
Being a single mom of 2 kids, 2 broken marriages and not knowing where my life is going, i turned to God in late 2017.
It as the best decision i have ever made. I just love worshipping the God who saved me, the God who kept me when i felt like just slipping away.
Today i sing for joy and testify of Gods goodness and mercy.
I am still climbing the ladder but with God on my side i can do all things.

God Alone is my anchor.
I pray that my music will bless someone out there and that whoever listens to it will be emcouraged.
