A Big Guitar got its start in the mid 90s primarily with rock. As time progressed, A Big Guitar began to explore various other genres. ABG is primarily influenced by rock and composes primarily with rock (usually instrumentals). Sometimes ABG breaks genres by mixing them together such as rock and symphonic or rap beats and rock. Not all tracks contain guitar work. Most songs do contain guitar work, however. Don't be surprised to hear songs containing only orchestral or electronic elements, though.

ABG is influenced by many different artists and music. The guitar work is influenced Vai, Satch, VH, and various other in this style. Composition is most influenced by Mike Oldfield and various other composers and bands.

Composing
Too much commercial music today is driven by beat, heavy driving one chord guitar work or by short bleeps and blips of a synth. Little thought is placed on musical composition in in today's mainstream music. Even still, ABG is com
