The Newest Sound in Rockabilly is Ace Starry and The NashVegas Sound, IT'S CALLED C'ROCKIN'!
If Elvis were alive and in his prime, he'd be playing in NashVegas. What would the sound be? That is what Ace Starry asked when he wrote his song Rockin' NashVegas! Well he took the best boogie back slapping guitar rockabilly sound and added horns to make it even richer. Elvis often had female vocals backing him up when he did larger stage productions, so he added those. But of course this is Nashville, not Las Vegas, so it just had to have a fiddle. Well, this unique sound was so well received by people in Nashville that Ace decided to make all of his songs just like it. After all it was his formula, he called it his "NashVegas Sound" and decided to name his band by that name.
