Loved it!
Funny lyrics. Rocking tune. Yes, it is parody Rockabilly but, the production is well done. The hooks are there and it is fun to listen to. I could see this guy throwing a hell of an entertaining show based just on this song. Cheers Ace! I enjoyed your song and look forward to hearing more from you. Thanks for the memories.

I really dig this. Love the lyrics. Its dead on with the rockabilly sound. The mix could use a bit more punch. But thats just me. I would love to see this done live. This track is absolutely Jammin

Flair, wit and R&R. Can't go wrong with those ingredients if you want to cook up a good song. If the band in the background is firing on all cylinders as well, and it certainly does here, then you're ready to serve it! Together with rolling arrangements, good studio session work and resounding overall production, this is a good lil' number for anytime of year.

Fun Song
Well - this song had my feet a'tapping straight from the off. Close my eyes and think of the Cumberland River and the catfish frying in the pan. Lovely to hear a fun song from a talented band with some great instrumental breaks throughout. Thanks guys - I enjoyed this one. Regards, Johnny Ramone of Angel International Management (UK)

Cary Say’s There comes a time in every man or woman’s life when they looks back and wonders what went wrong, what went right, what was my fault, what wasn’t my fault, should I have said I was sorry, why did I say I was sorry, why didn’t they say they were sorry, why do I care, why should I care, why don’t they care etc. The point is do you care or not? If so you did what was right, amen.

Well paced and great subject matter. Keep up the writing it's sounding good. Great production and mixing of all the instrumentation well blended. The vocal could come up a little more but i am a lyrics kind of guy.

Hey Ace. I like your song. Got an Elvis sound with that rockabilly beat. Couldn't really understand all the words but it has a good feel and a fiddle!! I heard something about a girl from France and gettin in her pants. That was the clincher.

Rockabilly Fishing
Nice rockabilly feel with good instrumentation, nice stops and good harmony. As on Dick Clark..."I could dance to this". Vocals are good and structure is excellent. If one were looking for things to improve, I would get the vocals out in front of the music a bit more. It was sometimes difficult to clearly hear the vocal as it was being over-ridden by the instruments. I firmly believe that a Jerry Lee piano would push this to great heights. Nice job and keep up the good work.

Decent tune
Decent tune some nice female backing and good lyrics, reminiscent of Jailhouse Rock, good rockabilly. Also some nice T.Rex type bassline/vocal riff (Woodland Rock), even a violin thrown in to the works for good measure.

Catfish Be Boogiein'
This is from the Elvis school of rockabilly, only with a horn section. With respect to the recording, there is something sterile about the mix and the instrumentation that, to me, clearly make this a demo, not a broadcast-quality release. Part of this is because it sounds a little over-compressed. The compression takes away from the dynamics. The horns and drums also sound manufactured to my ears...just a little too sterile. The vocals are okay, but again, compressed such that there doesn't seem to be much brightness. The song itself sounds like fun, but it doesn't cover much new ground vocally or lyrically. If I was producing, I'd probably like to hear more contrasts in the sections and better use of effects to create that rockabilly-style vibe.
