A Closer Walk Ministries

This weekend, we moved one step closer to our anticipated 2022 release. The conclusion of the foundation mix for all 14 tracks! I played a few of the tracks for the vocalist, and she got hyped about it too! Once I put the fades on the ends of the songs that fade out, we move to the mastering stage, followed by final song selection, and then its ready to go! As a teaser, all I will say for now is that the artist is Renae Marie, the project is called "Free Indeed", and we are so excited to share this new slice of love, faith and encouragement with you very very soon! Stay tuned!

While I work on my latest project, I have selected some songs from our artist catalogue to promote as streaming singles...33 to be exact! I will be swapping songs in and out until my next project is completed, so keep checking back to listen to these tracks that are not available anywhere but here at this time! A Closer Walk Ministries

While the world was stuck in their homes, reeling from the uncertain effects and tragedy of a global pandemic, we were in the lab cooking up the re-releases of the most critical elements of our album catalogue! In June 2020, we re-released "The Simple Life", the greatest hits collection of one of our most creative groups, Delivered Soul. Then we went further back in time, and in October 2020, we re-released "Perspective", the greatest hits collection from our first group on our label, The Faith Council. Finally we jumped forward to our best-selling group, Girly Girl, and completed the work necessary to re-release their greatest hits collection, "Reflection" (which was also their group name in the last few years of their existence) in January 2021.

Each collection was digitally revisited, some remixed and remastered, some selections were removed and others added, and we believe if you will be totally blessed by the results. Hurry on over to Amazon or Apple Music to check them out - Just to give you a taste, we have one track from each collection currently uploaded to this site. In March, after some finalization miscommunications, we released Project XX (20) aka the Family Album aka "The Way It Is", featuring vocals by the DJJS. This album was originally thought to be fully completed in December 2018, so the recordings for the next project were well underway. Josh 2.0 was thought to be the next studio release, featuring the artist Generous Deliverance. But we also received news that the supporting videos for our spoken word project had been completed, and now we had to determine a launch date for this project as well. We were able to identify a date in early August to execute this "release without an artist", and we streamed the release so the spoken word vocalist could actually see what had become of the pieces she had originally recited in 2007! An amazing accomplishment indeed! Of course Josh 2.0 was still in progress, and by November, all mixing and mastering for 13 of the 14 songs was complete. With one last flurry of renaming, recording, reviewing and mastering, "Subsequent" was released in December to rave reviews and positive acclaim! Who knows what 2020 will bring - more videos? Three more album releases? Another new studio project? Stay tuned for more news, details and updates from A Closer Walk Ministries! God bless!

Project 20 has completed the mixing stage, and is ready to go to the mastering stage! It won't be long before we have 13 new tracks for you to feast your ears on! have a great week everybody!

By the end of the weekend, we should have 1st drafts of the candidate songs completed. The variety of voices and singing sensitivities are truly moving, and the harmonic combinations are uplifting and inspiring. I look forward to phase 2 of production!

In May, we will have another completed music project to share selections and distribute digitally to all those interested in a young man who has a passion for singing God's praise. Josh is getting ready to apply to college, and he is not afraid to voice his conviction for the truth. He is ready to embrace his calling as a spiritual beacon through music and he wants to share his vocal gifts with you! Next month, look for the title "A Closer Walk Ministries presents: Generous Deliverance - Strong and Courageous".

When you have hundreds of songs recorded, it is not easy to just pick a second song to share, so I decided to stay on the same album (Gospelicious) and share track #3 (Let The Savior In).
