Read more"The Faith" reunites in Florida at the Green Parrot in Casselberry, Saturday, July 11th playing some old favorites from bands they love from the early days! Also one original, "Old Mother Hubbard", one of their fondest instrumentals and as always, we tore down the house! The original lineup, Adam Kaul, Jeff Larson, and Lyn Porter were joined by a guest singer, Derek Smith, an amazing vocalist who's being asked to stay with the re-formed band. "We would love to keep him, he's a real good, kind and decent man and an awesome vocalist!" ,Adam Kaul said when asked about adding a fourth musician to the iconic trio. Have Faith in something... Have Faith in yourself! TRUTHMUSIC and a societal return to BASIC HUMAN VALUES... Growing up in Europe was an experience I would'nt trade for anything. To grow up in ancient cultures where people still live by basic human values,hmmmm... Started in music when I was very young. Made the move to strings and played Bass and sang for a decade or more. The two most notable projects were The KGB, (Adam Kaul,Ed Rosado,Ricky Ramirez,Rick Stamper), and The Faith,(Adam Kaul,Lyn Porter,Jeff Larson,)and a parade of different drummers. One day I sat down with a 12-string, fell in love with it, and never looked back. The music isn't entirely acoustic, the boy got out of the jungle but the jungle never got out of the boy after all, and the songs speak to the innermost parts of your being. Have Faith in something. Have Faith in yourself!
