About Alannah Lori

I was born in Paris, France.
I was drawn to the piano from a very young age.
In high school, I was involved in music, film analysis, sports and drama.
After graduating, I attended “l’École Normale de Musique de Paris” ((expired link).) where I was a classical pianist and lyrical singer.
I went on to take more piano lessons along with harmony classes at the American School of Modern Music of Paris where I learned jazz.
Right at that time, I started performing accompanied by guitar virtuoso, session musician, Olivier Bertrand. We arranged a wide range of pop-rock songs to fit our accoustic voice/guitar duo “Dubble Bed” and performed in various venues in Paris.
After joining the Superior School of Audiovisual Productions ((expired link).) in Paris, where I became a certified assistant sound engineer, I spent some time interning in (expired link). California at the KJZY/ KZST radio station as the assistant to commercial producer. Shortly after I decided to move to Western Canada and began to write my own songs.
