About Alisa Star

Alisa Star is a small town girl who grew up on a lake in Alexandria, MN. She is the youngest of three girls. Her family and friends, music, sports, and lake activities filled Alisa’s childhood. Music has always been her true passion and she has been singing and writing songs since she was a kid. Her original music holds a great mixture of dirt- kickin’ country and southern rock. Alisa has had the privilege to remain a returning artist at Moondance Jammin’ Country Fest for several years. She has performed at BB Kings in Nashville during CMA Fest, along with regular trips to Nashville to record her original songs, with exceptional producer Dean Miller (son of the late country legend, Roger Miller.) Not only have several of her original songs been on regular air play on various radio stations across the country, she was asked to be the special guest on the Connie Lee Stich Live Radio show, which airs on Bob FM. In 2014, Alisa was named IMEA "Country Female Artist of the Year." Alisa gained several years of experience when she played and performed many shows as the lead vocalist for a highly recognized cover/original band in the mid-west club circuit.
