Picture on the Mantle
Nice intro just shorten it a bit. Right now it's 49 seconds long. It would be awesome to add a vocal melody and chorus to enhance the song.

"Picture on the mantle"
Am quite confused as what the intentions are. It certainly is an extraordinary piece of original composition, but is it meant to be a song or a musical piece with a text ...? Sorry for my ignorance.

Review of "PICURE ON THE MANTLE.mp3 by Gabrielle Crow
I like the birds chirping and the flute throughout. It's a very interesting mix. However, I'm not to familar with this type of music, but I liked it.

I liked the flute and bird intro and the bass and drums when they first come in but I think you should drop the flute when the vocal starts I find it distracting. The beats seem to not quite match up at times especially when it goes to the V chord. I'm just learning to remix myself, have been primarily in live bands...guitars bass and drums stuff. so keep trying it takes some time. I would appreciate you checking my reverb nation and sound cloud sites they have more tunes on them

Original but lacking in a few places
This piece is more like a poetry recital than a song, the drums and the flute just don't work for me and the whole things sounds a bit mish mash. Lyrically its not terrible but there is very little melody or anything else to speak of. Top marks for originality, in a world where so many songs sound the same I admire your daring to be different. Keep it up and keep trying
Just for the fun of it
This piece isn't fun at all. What this is turns out to be a bit of a commentary. It has a good intent yet the drums never really seem to meet the flute like sound accompanying composition and leading it into certain disaster. Simple is most times, better if well put together can make great sense, and entertain many, but this attempt falls flat as a bad note. Try again. Never give up.
