About Amber Rose

Conceived on the Sunset Strip, in the wake of Haley’s Comet, barely 10 months after my parents met on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. I was born with music running through my veins. I am Amber Rose. I am a 26 year old singer, songwriter and musician from Los Angeles, CA. I am currently endorsed by Daisy Rock Guitars & I play their Daisy Rock Venus electric guitar. I also play Acoustic guitar, classical guitar and some piano.

I started playing out on the Los Angeles music scene at 15, when I played The 1st & 2nd Annual Accept & Respect Festival in Los Angeles. By age 16, I was playing on the Sunset Strip and in various Los Angeles clubs such as The Rainbow, The Cat Club, 14 Below, The UnUrban, and The Masquer's Cabaret as a solo acoustic artist.

I wrote "Don't Let Me Go" later that year (2003) with Reana Gallardo. The song was released almost a year later, when I had just turned 17. A very spare recording I did of just guitar and vocals went to #1 on the Soundclick ((expired link)) Acoustic Vocals Charts after only 7 days online, and the song remained there for 5 months straight.

Several press articles followed ... Two by Joe Barracato (New York Post, The Industry Resource), and The Tolucan Times locally. I gained a lot of international fans from more than 65 countries through SoundClick.
