Hey all, I hope you are all holding up ok during these incredibly challenging and difficult times. I don’t know about you guys but with all the tipsy turn of world events from the fires here in Australia to global illness and the riots and protests, I was feeling extremely drained, creatively and emotionally, I then stumbled across the following quote:
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.” — Bill Keane
This quote resonated with me in a way that made me realise we need to focus on the now, yes history is there as our teacher but in order to move forward we need to take small steps each day to cement the change this world really needs

Amy Gonzalez is a singer/songwriter/guitarist whose music is not only powerful and personal but also possessive of a magnetic stage presence when performing live. MY LITTLE STORY SO FAR……..
I was born on 11 June 1985. My guess it was a cold day because I arrived to the world purple and hairy...(say what you will) the first ever memories of my childhood is playing mum and dad's LP's and singing along, I dont think I was thinking about being someone famous or anything I just loved the way music made me feel and when I sang, it was like having a conversation with so many people at once and they all sat there silently listening to everyword. I picked up the guitar at the age of 11 to the influence of my music teacher and lisa loeb( the woman I fell in love with musically at the time) I began teaching myself..it all started from there , a few years later (14) I started writing cuz there were so many things inside me I wanted to say, but I needed to write it down first...music became the centre of my universe, I soon found myself composing songs on the guitar everyday. I draw my inspiration from my everyday experiences, and who ever said that silence breathes was onto something because when you live in my head it plays like a constant melody. I find myself inspired by the sound my heart makes when she says "Can you feel that?". .
