I was born in Berlin, Germany on January, 17th, 1950, and raised in California from age two. I left home in 1964 at the age of 14, to become a "Ken Kesey Acid-test Hippie". By my early twenties, I'd learned to play guitar first, then bass, followed by the keyboard, and finally drums. Over the years I played in a number of "all original garage bands", but never made the "big time". Later in life, I began to edit the analog music recordings of my original music, recorded over the years, and posted them on YouTube, by creating psychedelic background images to go along with my music. My long time friend and collaborator, Doug Cater III, was the drummer in all the live recordings. I overdubbed the bass and keyboard parts on my multitrack recorder, so essentially, we were a "two man band", and always played in our home studio. Recently, I've gotten more into the keyboards and have done all my most recent work solo, directly into the multitrack; using a drum machine for the drums, and overlaying layers of synthesizer samples sequenced with my keyboard riffs; to create a "Psychedelic DJ" style of music, based upon a "Techno Electronica" and "Sci-fi" style of music. I have also dabbled into the "Ambient" style of music as well. I have written a book about my wild and crazy youth in the 1960's titled "Autobiography of a Hippie" and if interested; you can check it out here;
