Angela Williams Singer/Songwriter
Angela Williams is a Chicago bred singer and songwriter that began singing in church at the age of four and have been writing and building a catalog since a teenager. Known as “Chicago’s Song Bird” she began singing her originals and winning many talent shows. One of Angela’s most notable composition’s which is accompanied by Kenny G’s Pastels that she retitled is called “Something’s Gone Wrong”. This particular arrangement opened many doors that allowed her to perform at many venues such as the Chicago Park District talent search sponsored by Miller Genuine Draft, Martini and Rossi, and WGCI who chose Angela to represent Chicago at the famous Apollo Theater giving her the opportunity to work with Freddie Jackson, Darryl Duncan, Steve Hurley, Operation Push and Public Allies singing for Michelle Obama, and eventually performing at Chicago’s Taste of Chicago. Angela Williams caught the attention of Wayne Williams and signed to Mirage Entertainment, where she worked with producers Ron Carroll and Larry Thompson to name a few. Currently, Angela is building her musical catalog and has decided to further her musical endeavors and growth by writing for others. Angela is a lyrical goddess that can write music in all styles and genres. Her writing capabilities range from R&B, Jazz, Contemporary jazz, Contemporary gospel, and grown folk music.
