This song is very special to me. It started as a poem I wrote for my sister's memorial. She died in 1995 of cancer at the age of 36. She had moved into mom's house and we were all there taking care of her. She had collected angels and I was unpacking them for her. She was so concerned about us and if we were too tired or whatever. She did not complain. She was so young and beautiful. It was very sad. Ray took my words and put them to music. We named our band, Angels in Our Eyes in her honor.
