annushkasempire is a solo recording artist and songwriter. The prime music focus being pop and soundtrack (expired link) Russian-Australian artist comes from a family who's history is rich in the arts and military. Also of Irish stock, which would account for having been likened to the Irish writers. annushkasempire has been writing prose and poetry for pleasure since teen years, so when a friend taught them a few guitar chords, it seemed like a natural shift into songwriting. Once a regular on the local originals scene, after a break from the industry, they came back with a fresh approach and began to pen some 70+ songs since 2008's songwriting resurgence, many which are yet to be produced.
Early 2016 an EP of diverse songs was release, giving a sample of the writing abilities of this artist. There are plans to follow this with another album soon.
annushkasempire is currently working on a UK animated film soundtrack with the film's creator and producer, acclaimed painter and visual artist Ralph Shephard.
2013 saw annushkasempire reach finalist status in the Pop Category of the Music Oz Australian Independent Music Awards with the song 'In Your Head'. This song was produced by Mike Beever who produced Coldplay's Brothers & Sisters EP.
2016 Pop category finalist Australian Independent Music Awards with the song 'Rose N Thorn' which will be on the upcoming indie animated film soundtrack. Rose N Thorn was produced by a global team. Joseph VanBuren of Sykophunk Productions and Joe Doe rap fame, producing the instrumental track. The UK's Steve Belgrave of EmixPro produced the vocal and mixddown, with the master of mastering, Pete Maher, giving an exciting polish to the project..
2016 airplay rotation on the amazing Women Of Substance Radio with song 'Diamonds'. Songs from the EP were also aired on (expired link) KLED Uncle Earl's Ultimate Underground show..
2016 annushkasempire will be releasing an original holiday song, a first for this artist, once more using the superb team of Steve Belgrave and Pete Maher, with the music track arranged and performed by USA music Professor G.
