Magical Things - and what it is about:
Do you sometimes feel like you're outside the world? That your connection to others is lost? Aren't we all little children who sit in amazement in front of the globe and try to understand the functions and effects of it? Is it all just a game? I dare not touch this beautiful ball. But we live on this sphere and don't sit in front of it! Perhaps we should have this image in our minds so that we can protect this interesting ball. So we have to have an outside view. This view is magical even as imagination and allows us to recognize our planet worth preserving. We should do everything for it - even beyond our own lives, right?
So next time you're feeling down, just remember that you're part of something magical. And that's something to be happy about.

Happy Xmas season greetings

Happy new year - the future is here

This song was written at the beginning of 2022. The mood was kinda bad. Then the war broke out in Ukraine and the content of the song was confirmed. Unfortunately! The lyrics of the song refer to a poem by Else Lasker Schüler, a Jewess who fled Germany before the beginning of the Third Reich and grew up in a similarly "wild" time as now: the Weimar Republic. At that time everything was changing and many longed for the decision-maker, the manager, and therefore destroyed the democratic system. That shouldn't be happening today! It's best if we take care of it together.

I am part of a band project called "The Perhaps" for twenty years now. We just finally released the new album "Colours and music". We made it possible with our own studio technology, which we bought over the years. We are four amateur musicians with a lot of heart and soul and create songs together in the rehearsal room. Unfortunately, the situation is still the same as it was a year ago: We have to endure contact restrictions, we are not allowed to meet many people and now a new virus variant threatens us. The song "Face it", composed in April of last year, is therefore still very relevant. Have a listen!

Dear Listener!
These are special times. We have to stay home, aren't allowed to meet our dearest friends and video conferencing is the newest sport ;-)
I have written a new song with the title "Face it!", trying out "GarageBand" and a new iPad with some Loops, some recording effects I sing about the situation at home. The song ends with the choir "Face it - there'll be a time we'll meet again!" So I'm sure the situation will change!
