I like your voice as well as the song pretty good!! I believe if you stick with it, it won't be long before someone wants to do big things with you. But continue to sing unto the Lord, and be led by His Spirit.

Few artists can walk the line as a true crossover artist. Arlene Whiteman shows that potential vocally on this track. She does a beautiful job creating a near-universal appeal with her vocal stylings. The song is well written structurally. Very repetitive lyrically and I would have liked to see it more developed but the concept was sound if very basic. Very listenable tune and won't get anyone in the Christian spectrum worked up doctrinally. Good job.

In this song the Vocalist made it apparent that she's a vocalist and not just a singer, lol. Seriously I can hear the training and the hard work and effort that pays off in favor of the Artist because of the training. I love the arrangements and the feel of the overall composition. I have a understanding that in Ministry they have expectations for Gospel music and most require the setting of the House (House of God) and I feel like this song will be gladly accepted by the body. I would listen in on the vocals to see if there is room for improvement in any area of the song. I would support a song like this. Continue in your craft and calling.

Very nice intro, subtle and refined, nicely done on the keys. Vocally some great work here. Arlene has a nice smooth quality in her voice. It was easy to hear her passion for the music and the lyrics come through. The message that "Only God Can..." was made clear, a message for all to be assured of. There were a couple of places where I lost the lyrics. I believe a little more attention to enunciation and finishing the words - i.e. no "dropping" of hard consonants - will make it more easily understandable. VERY NICE WORK!

The Peace of God just floods the place. The piano is sooo anointed. The mix is pretty goood, vocals are out front where they belong. The arrangement is simple yet skillful. The acoustic intro brings the listener in gently with just piano, guitar, and bass. The drums enter seamlessly without fanfare with understated percussion (cymbals and tamborine) on the second verse. All the instruments are played skillfully and with reverence. The mix is well balanced, with the vocal out front and clearly understandable. (This is crucial in Christian music, since the ministry is in the lyrics.) The extended epilogue of nothing but gentle tapping on the cymbal is a creative and gentle way to end a song. If I have a criticism, it is from a song-writing standpoint only. In the first verse, the vocal begins addressing God in the second person ("my cry to You"), then switches to third person, speaking about God, rather than to God. This switch in perspective breaks the spell over the listener by forcing a change in mind set, mid-stream. Hope that helps. This song reaches the heart and ministers, and that's what matters most.
