Hello my dear friends.
Because so many of you liked "Poway Where I Love" and requested more of my songs, I agreed to the release of "Christmas In My Heart". I even flew to Las Vegas to record the vocals myself. But when I heard them, they were not something I wanted anyone to hear. In fact, I decided to just toss the whole song. Manti Blades, Jazz and Honky Tonk singer is my son's girlfriend. I told her of my decision and she begged me to re-do the vocals. She loved the song and found herself singing it all the time. So I agreed to spare the song if SHE would replace my vocals. My son Fritz O'Hara did the instrumentals and backup vocals, making this a 3-way project. It's important that I don't take credit for the all important contributions of these two wonderful musicians. In this song, my role is strictly songwriter/ proud mama/ grateful friend. And to them and to YOU, I want to say Thank you. Have a Blessed Christmas and a great 2020. Regards, Arline O'Hara

Greetings! My Christmas song is finally here, with Manti Blades doing vocals and Fritz O'Hara's instrumentals and backups.


My own vocals were very disappointing and I was ready to toss the whole song.
but Manti "my daughter - by choice" agreed to sing in my place.

Hi there. I already shared that I had recorded the vocals for my Christmas song. We anticipated putting it out there this fall and that is still the intention. However, a few glitches made us aim for October rather than September. So please bear with me. The studio and instrumentals are in Las Vegas and I am in North Carolina. Thus, the time challenge. Hi Guys! Thank you for being subscribers. I am not your typical songwriter/singer. My son Fritz O'Hara is the entertainer in our family. He lives and works in Las Vegas. He had me record "Poway where I Love" which I wrote for my brother. It was an amazing experience and the complements I received from some of you meant so much to me. A year ago I lost my husband after 52 years of marriage and really needed the lift your messages provided. I am so grateful. A few of you wanted to know when to expect more of my music. I'm afraid it isn't likely to happen. But my son is in Electric Dynamite and Fritz and the Side EffectZ as well as filling in with many other popular bands. So please look him up on YouTube. My song, "Poway where I love" was written for my brother. He had moved to Poway and felt as though he'd landed in heaven.. He asked me to write a song about the place he loved. I kept putting it off until he was killed, at the age of 38, by a drunk driver. My son is an entertainer in Las Vegas. During a recent visit he announced we were gong to record his Uncle Denny's song. I was horrified that he wanted me to do the vocals. His girlfriend matched beautiful photos of Poway to my lyrics. It was such a wonderful experience. I am closer to 80 than not. Thank you all.
