Hello my dear friends. Because so many of you liked "Poway Where I Love" and requested more of my songs, I agreed to the release of "Christmas In My Heart". I even flew to Las Vegas to record the vocals myself. But when I heard them, they were not something I wanted anyone to hear. In fact, I decided to just toss the whole song. Manti Blades, Jazz and Honky Tonk singer is my son's girlfriend. I told her of my decision and she begged me to re-do the vocals. She loved the song and found herself singing it all the time. So I agreed to spare the song if SHE would replace my vocals. My son Fritz O'Hara did the instrumentals and backup vocals, making this a 3-way project. It's important that I don't take credit for the all important contributions of these two wonderful musicians. In this song, my role is strictly songwriter/ proud mama/ grateful friend.
