After listening to today's pop music I would say this song is misclassified.. This is more akin to modern jazz and sounds like something Astrid Gilberto would have done. The soft soothing style complements the male vocal well and gives us the listener a compelling urge to listen to him sing his tale. The song is produced and arranged well. I might add a little more reverb to the vocal to soften the edges but keep the tail end short so as not to muddy the vocals

I liked the melody very much ,very enchanting , I liked the depth of the song and the honesty. the combination of 2 languages very nice. I liked the sound o the guitar, it is very special and very nice . The melody is very appealing and drew my attention. in general nice work .

Dear Alain G I really enjoyed your Man with hope. I liked the ambient and the guitar. Probably for a so nice song it would have been interesting to play it with a band. The sound is artificial to my ear, and it is not convinving me. I don't know if it is a matter of mix or a matter of midi tracks. Very nice creation. The listeners attention is immediately focused as the saxophone enters with a sweet, but melancholy feeling. The figuration is clear and concise without too much clutter. The chord progression is astounding the way it modulates with exquisite taste. The lyrics are in both English and Spanish to gain a wider audience reach which is wonderful so more people can understand the great talent presented. Nice smooth track from AlanG. Atmospheric vocal sits over a great acoustic guitar based backing track. Beautiful textures highlight the voice which fluctuates cleverly between English and French.

I have a feeling for good music. Best conditions to write something about it. This song goes to the heart and touches the soul. I love the intro with the saxophone and a jazz-solo with it, could make the song some more interesting. But why do I tell this? I really love the song, but I have a problem with the offbeat from the drums. There are some sequences where the rhythm takes the drive. I recommend more latin and less complicated rhythm. This song is not far away from normal radio hits. A rework of the drums would do well. Listen to the song and if you like add him. Let others know your recommendation.

Very chilled out track, could easily play as background music in restaurants, hotels etc. Interesting arrangement, creating nice suspense in the intro, however, some sounds seem very dated. It's missing a hook that would make me want to listen to it over and over.

Very nice production with a smooth and soulful vocal. Nice light feel with solid instrumental backing, good horn work and rhythmic feel. Very pleasant and nice bed for a film. Evokes images of hope, in both English and Portuguese.

This tune gives a scene, and is like a narrative. I find that this song is a pice of story-telling work, and in that sense, it could be called an epic, instead of lyric. The world projected by the sound track is nice and smooth, mixing and mastering done rightly. It is also what I feel, that it might be nice to make a jazz version of this song - I feel somehow that the song words and flow would go well with smooth jazz. The switch in language, between English and Spanish, I suppose, is interesting. I am not exactly certain whether the language switch is favourable to audience, but I'd say the flow of the vocals as a track in itself is very nice. Lots of hope in this song - Well-done! :DDD
