Well, I can no longer send out newsletters telling everyone I have added a new song - wants me to upgrade and pay - I won't do that!! So I will just put a message on here letting everyone know I added a song. "I Want Someone To Love" I wrote it when I felt down about a recent divorce. Hope you like it!!!

A song writer friend and I have thought about writing songs for karaoke KJs titled "I Don't Know" "You Pick It For me" "Let Me Think About It" or "What Do You Want To Hear?" There are so many titles we could work with, if you have ever hosted karaoke, you will understand where I am coming from. People come up to put in a song and those are the comments we get when we ask what they want to sing. I think it would really be fun and it wouldn't take much to do it. But then again, I have trouble finding anyone to put music to my songs, how can I find someone to put music to these songs? Just a pipe dream I have!! Maybe sometime in the future I will meet someone who can provide the music and I'll be in heaven!!! LOL!!

I love music and I often get a tune running through my head that I have to stop what I am doing and write words for it. Wish I had more time to do that now!!

I added a new song in case you haven't checked out my page as of late. It is called "Two Tomatoes and a Big ole Bag of Weed"

Let me warn you there is a cuss word in it and with the content of the song, your youngster should not listen to it. It depends on what you think about the laws today - I know that where I live, the Bible Belt, marijuana will never become a legal substance, so you may not want to listen to this song for that reason. I totally understand! It was written because a friend of mine thought the title would make a good song, I went home and wrote it!! LOL!! It is my attempt to be funny and kind of a tribute to what Willie Nelson is known for outside of his music.

I get so many of my song ideas from what goes on around me or what I see on the news. I try to steer the thought toward the pleasant but sometimes I feel like a subject needs to be covered that I have noticed a lot. It seems a shame that there are any issues that need to be covered, but unfortunately I have those issues thrown in my face all the time. Bullying, poor treatment on the job, in the schools, and just out in public are just a few things I have noticed a lot. The usual discrimination toward race, nationality, gender, and sexual preference is all too common but age discrimination has been a lot on my mind lately. I can't believe how some people raised their children to show such disrespect toward their elders!! I just hope something turns around cause we don't have our elders in our lives for long and I wouldn't want to miss out on learning all I can from them!!

I added another song and pulled one off. I hope I didn't pull the song off that was your favorite. Wish they allowed more than three as a free member, but they don't.

I'm not sure if this is where to do this, but I have posted a new song, "For All Eternity" which I wrote and sang. Sorry for the lack of music in the background - I'm just not a musician :( - wish I were!!!

I'd like to say that this website is fantastic, but I can't. It builds people up, yes....it makes people think they can do a lot more than they could before, yes....but does it really do what is needed, promote the songs we have and get them to the right ears.....not so much unless you want to pay for it. Well I don't have the financial situation that allows me to pay for promotion and yes, they have free promotion of my songs, but do they do much other than make them accessible to those who are also not paying to be on this site, I doubt it. I have no hopes of becoming famous by being on this site and I hope the people running this site have not held out false hope to anyone else. I love to sing, I am very gratefully that others enjoy what I produce! Thank you for your support in my music and my lyrics and my vocal ability!!! Everyone needs someone who tells you that you are doing a good job!! I am glad you have shown that support to me, but this site is not going to produce anyone famous unless they want to pay for it. If I am not here much it is because I don't put faith in this type of promotion. Thank you again and best of luck to you all!!!
