Greetings! Ash Ramus in the Lithuanian language means I am calm. In Sanskrit Ashram is a place where people come to relax and meditate. I am a composer from Norway. When I was born in 1971 small town of Moletai, in beautiful Lithuania, my father a pianist, conductor for choir, and music teacher bought the piano, so from a very early I started to play and create music.
When I was seven, I attended Music School and played in Orchestra for Parades, some Concerts, and Funeral processions. I was kicked out multiple times from orchestra because I used to improvise when my scores were too dull. When I was 17 years old, I was conscripted into the Soviet army, so my music career ended. Ten years in the military (served in the EOD team, saving lives by cleaning land from dormant "killers" UXO, explosive remnants of war, see pic. Airport, mil. Ex...), after I spent ten years in construction and ten years working as a diving instructor and commercial diver.
A year ago, a son was born to me, so I bought a synthesizer for him and myself, now I am happy to play and create my music again :):)
The music I create is alive, and all sounds are from analog synthesizers, with no mixing or clippings, everything is a one-time recording with some "mistakes" that makes it unique. I can feel that it has to be this way, very alive. Never liked to play from the notes of other composers, not my music and feelings. My music is not arithmetic, it's like in mother nature everything is unique.
