Aspen, a native of South Carolina, was born and raised around all genres of music. Her father, a funky bass guitarist, and mother, a sultry songbird, would help create Aspen’s unique sound. Gaining interest in music at an early age, Aspen tried to emulate her parents. Listening and watching her father write, produce, and sing original songs in their home studio compelled her to follow in her father’s footsteps.
