Amanda grew up singing and performing in the USA, but spent most of her younger years in Memphis, TN (USA) absorbing as much music as possible. Her singing career began with musicals and in her teens, she began opera training. She has traveled the world with rock, blues, original music, pop and jazz bands. She is constantly striving to develop her art and learn new singing genres. Amanda has also sung for the T.Clemente Band and Gundacker and is a founding member of the Atomic Picnic Project. Amanda has settled in California. When her health allows, she helps others as a vocal coach and music therapist.

We have been working with Amanda Dieck for a good 10 years. She has immortalized her wonderful voice on many of our songs. Now fate has struck cruelly:

• A heart defect was diagnosed (dead artery, her blood flows in the wrong direction)
• An inherited defect in her spine causes severe pain.

Because of these illnesses, she can no longer work. As a result, she has the problem of providing for herself and her son (who has Tourette's!). Due to a lack of money, she has to live in a trailer with her family and pets because rents in California are exorbitantly high. In addition, her health insurance company has canceled her membership. Together with a brilliant lawyer, we are trying to reverse this.
At the suggestion of Ruth Rossel (cello), we will organize a benefit concert to support her under the motto "Amanda's Friends".
