Windy Gypsy Blues By AWZ
You know I've seen a lot of things my friends,
From here to Timbuktu.
Traveled around this big blue ball,
Crying these Windy Gypsy Blues.
Regrets are few if dreams are
followed,
That is the Gypsies Creed.
Embracing life, seizing the day,
That's all a Gypsy needs.
A Windy Gypsy Daunting Rhythm,
Blows through every living thing.
Only few awaken, When they hear
that Gypsy sing.
I heard Her song quite early on,
Her melody so sweet.
No promises to be broken,
True passion without deceit.
A lot of people sayin',
They can relate to my songs.
They know the words line for line,
And the never get them wrong.
I've been called a story teller,
I am honored by the jest.
Honestly I'm just a vagabond,
With a guitar on my chest.
A Windy Gypsy Daunting Rhythm,
Blows through every living thing.
Only few awaken, When they hear that Gypsy sing.
It's true I've seen the living stories, That inspire some of my songs.
A tragic end, a new beginning,
The rights and all the wrongs.
In every life there is A Gypsy,
Trying to get free.
Just look around with open eyes,
At all the puppets on their strings.
Lives I've seen from A distance,
Are but echoes of the lives I've
encountered near.
Every story different,
Or so they may appear.
Maybe I saw a couple kissing,
On a park bench in the sun.
That reminded me of a love I lost,
By not knowing she was the one.
A Windy Gypsy Daunting Rhythm,
Blows through every living thing.
If by chance you hear it,
Awaken when that Gypsy starts to sing.
