The Singer/Songwriter and Guitarist of the band. What can i say about this guy. Been around the block a few times and some.Played some of the worst dives that none of us would set foot in, and still comes off stage smiling. Originally a self taught drummer gradually moving on to guitar/bass for various bands over the years. Around 2009/10 he decided it was time to pursue his own material his way and so the Bad Billy Band was formed. So far they have gone from strength to strength and have gained a reputation as a definite band to watch live.

Tom
Tom is the rhythm guitarist/ vocalist/ banjo/ harmonica player in this band. A very deep and personal guy with a love of lyrics and a passion for the man against the system. Funny, humble and modest he is secretly revered by the female audience as the pin up of the band. Tom also works and performs solo music projects of his own.

Poached from another band, Simon is an accomplished guitarist and musician. He can be seen recording and gigging in his other band, whilst maintain a strong commitment to the bass playing duties of Bad Billy Band. I'll never forget the time he jumped off stage (during a song) and went up to the bar and ordered a pint. Nice guy to meet in person.

Hi, hope you are having a good start to the New Year. Just letting you know we have loaded up more songs and photos on N1M . Have a listen, enjoy and we will be updating more on a regular basis. The next couple of months we will be rehearsing and recording a new album, so hopefully by summer there should be a wealth of new material for you. Keep safe and have a great year. Billy.
Read moreBlimey, that year went very quick. Good job we have lots more things lined up for next year. Currently we are working on a new album which will be recorded in the early part of the new year. So far its been a quiet year. Our keyboardist of 3 years has decided to move on to different ventures. We wish him all the best. Two of the band have been touring in a friends band but are now back. Finally get to play this Saturday at a charity gig in the local football ground. Should be buzzing and heaving with people. Got some other festivals and gigs in the pipeline just needing to confirm them all soon. Writing new material for the next album which hopefully we will be in the studio to record at the end of summer. It should all fall into place soon so we can get back on the road. About Bad Billy Band
The idea for Bad Billy Band came about after a desire to do something different. After years of being in punk/metal and heavy rock bands, Billy decided it was time to do an album that was completely different to what he had been playing. A love of local history and folk law of the Sussex Downs, brought about a collection of enough songs for an album. He and Russ settled down in 2008/9 and recorded the songs at the drummers studio. Billy played all the instruments on this album, with Russ playing drums on a couple of the tracks. Soon after recording had finished a show was announced and was well received at the time. More members were added and so the band grew into what it is today. If you get the chance, go see them live.
