    On Thursday, May 4, 2017 the ASHE’ CULTURAL ARTS CENTER located at 1712 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard will come alive with the:
    CUBA TO CONGO SQUARE THROWDOWN
    This exciting night of music and dance features direct from Havana, Cuba the Free Hop Shaman, DAVID D’OMNI ZF. In addition, the Cuban multi-talented percussionist, pianist and composer, ALEXEY MARTI and New Orleans R&B legend, DEACON JOHN will perform with New Orleans’ own BAMBOULA 2000. The night also includes the vocals, guitar and accordion talents of JOSE’ FERMIN CEBALLOS from the Dominican Republic. Cuban Casino Dance will be represented by BOOKOO RUEDA and there will be a DJ set by JNEIRO VIBERIAN JAREL. In addition, we are expecting surprise guests!
    HOLLYWOOD AND DENISE FRAZIER will be the hosts of this exciting evening of music and dance designed to unify and highlight the cultures of CUBA and NEW ORLEANS.
    SHOWTIME: 6PM -10PM
