Song Reviews
Creative
If you are looking for music that has serious expression Darkness Between The Lights by Barnum’s Freak is perfect. There is a lot going on even in the intro and it’s not all instrumental. Wait for it… there you are, vocals that also push the envelope. It is obvious the composer and the players have tremendous skill, and there are no dull moments in this music. Creativity is also plentiful here, and it all ties together nicely. The ending sneaks up on you and might want to play the song a few more times to hear it completely, and I don’t mind that at all. I recommend Between The Lights and you will not be disappointed.

Nice!!!!
I like the sound it's original! I can feel the heart in this showing you put in some dedicated work. I like the melody and the flow of the synth, very straight forward and with some wicked strings I can dig it!!! Sounds like the studio vibe was feeling the vibe I could sit back to this one and zone out!!!!! More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. Peace!

5 out of 5
This track has an interesting blend of parts between the guitars and the rhythms of the drums and bass. The band itself plays well together. They are truly talented. The synthesizer add some flavor to the sound to. It’s like a cherry on top of a Sundae. This is truly progressive and truly awesome. This is a well-deserved five out of five in my opinion. If you like very progressive mathematical type of music I recommend this trick to you.

Darkness
Very nice composition and very good production - very well performed - For a instrumental composition the music style is kind of special - sophisticated but popular - Solo instruments are very well suited with arrangement which is very rich with lot of very sophisticated well played instruments - In my opinion this composition have all attributes to be internationally promoted - So go for it - This is great work - Keep on and do more of this fantastic music - Thank you I enjoy...

Very interesting composition with its own character. Thanks to professional interpretation and production different from the general public. Varied with great attention to detail.

Review of Darkness Between The Lights
Thank you for asking me to review your music. This piece starts off with a energetic tone with electric guitar and shortly increases tempo. There are a number of variants. that give it a bit of variety. There is percussion and synths that give it a little cosmic feel. There are some vocals added to the end of the music piece. There is a variant in tempo again near the end. If you like a variety and something different this is a great piece for you. All well played. Nicely done!

Well executed no doubt ... very robust intro of drums ..
A lot of information in this long piece, it changes the rithm with ease I must confess. Apparently there are several aspects to this long journey, the first part is in my opinion quite laborious and the melody played by the guitar lead is quite basic, and as a musician I will have enriched a little more the melody in this part said . Fortunately in the following parts, the game suddenly becomes super interesting, fiery rhythms and crazy melody make it all move by evoking the power of an erupting volcano and its lava flows. I also imagined towards the end in one of the last parts, of the ways of women or even why not a choir of children to support the melodies, but hey, maybe it is me who delirium ;-)! That's it, but in any case it's pro work. Sincerely .... S

A Great Feeling track
I really liked the feel of this track which features some great guitar sounds. Its well produced and is slightly reminiscent of Yes who were the archetypal prog rock sound. Very tight and well produced a nice unique sound that lifts you up!!

Climbing a high hill
The drum/synth/bass section is quite good. I love the melodies of this singer and the way as he sings. The first instrumental section is a clever memory gamer thing like Dream Theater with an unprecise not very creative but selfish so not too good guitar playing. The song structure is interesting, sometimes with shocking breaks which is too much for me but many people like it I guess. The recording quality is o.k. but could be better (especially the guitar sound and the mix). I prefer friendship, not to kick out a mate from any band, but this band would be way better with a better guitar player. So, if the ego thing is not a barrier I would looking for a new guitarist and would keep the current one too for quieter roles like delivering effects /chords/something not too much and not at the front, because he/she is a mate (I believe in improvement and friendship.) I use an AKG reference headphone - Genelec monitors and compared Barnum's Freak to a Dream Theater recording because the guys go for their (that type of) audience.

Hello
I like a lot of Your "work" on Guitar...but structure of The Tune not so much...if I be You I will separate the Instrumental Part and song Part and make Two ..that will gave You more chances with Music Publishers.. MP very rear take to publish an Instrumental tune and They will Think this is an Instrumental one ( They will say " The Intro is too long" )..so put some work on It.. make 2 songs and keep Them under 3.5 min and than sent to Music Insiders and let's see what They will say...I wish You good luck.. Good Job..

Great musicianship- *red hot chilli peppers meet "Rush"
Wow this is very interesting. You sure can do a lot musically. I hear many change ups , a few genres in one , more than one time signature.......nice. At one point I though I was watching a movie there was a cool part where it took me back to the 80s , that part seemed to be perfect for film. Great timing , great intro. Keep up the great work

Atmospheric
Nice guitar parts, nice groove, although I'd probably make the drums a bit less tinny in the opening measures. Takes you by surprise when those meter changes come in, which is very cool. Not exactly my cup of tea but this is well presented and performed, and some of the hooks are very catchy

David would be proud
Every time I hear "Darkness Between The Lights" I hear new phrasing, new rhythms, and new chord changes; lots of chord changes. You might wonder how someone could improvise to such complicated changes. Practice, practice, practice. Believe it or not, it's the vocals that bring it back to Earth, and those vocals are far from business as usual. Nice music, nice vocals, very alternative; David would be proud.

Skillful
This was very well orchestrated. I love how the music takes life of it's own. I like the flow of the entire track and it was unpredictable hearing it for the first time so that caused me to truly listen. This piece was easy to hear, nothing was over bearing and I love the mix. I could only imagine the crowd at a concert, I could see this being an A-list track for a set. There is always room to grow in this industry so there will be growth if you continue in this business, with that being said , I feel like you should just continue and that which you are looking for will find you.

Barnum's Freak has sent you a request for review Yes Barnum's Freak, I would like to review your song "darkness between the light" So, where do I start, with 4/8 of a review or 7/8 of a review. As the song "darkness between the light" progresses, I was in belief that the song was leaning towards being an instrumental but, eventually the vocals were introduced. If your a fan of lengthy Arena Rock with time signature changes, as I am, your gonna love this one! Lots of twists and turns and just fun to repeatedly listen to. II tuo benvenuto molto mutch!
