About Benny & The Ben-Jam-Min Band

My extensive wealth of experience working in the entertainment field for over thirty years, with various artist in different genres of music that include: (R & B, Reggae, Calypso Music and Classical) in all parts of the world.

I’ve opened musical acts for over fourteen top R & B performers such as The Intruders, Billy Paul, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes, Cuba Gooding, The Main Ingredients, Blue Magic, Frankie Beverly & Maze, The Delphonics, The Persuaders, and McFadden & Whitehead to name a few. I was also the lead vocalist, backup vocalist, and percussionist for Sly & The New Family Stone Band.

In 1991 I signed my contract with Studio One record company for 8 years where I produced my album “No Where Else But Up”. In 2013 Savannah Morning Newspaper featured an article of me in titled “Savannah drummer to release new record”.
