Dear Everyone who has been listening and giving feedback on music on this site, I just released a new piece entitled "Dialogues of Pure Form". It was written as a due piece for any two players but this particular incarnation is realized on guitar and violin. While I wrote the piece, my friend and collaborator Donggnuk Kim helped to realize this particular performance with his violin, a performance I was very pleased with which filled me with a sense of gratitude that he was willing to put in the work to make this piece come to life. I used graphic notation to establish the form while the players had the freedom to choose the content of the passages. I'm thinking of expanding my work on this piece in a variety of ways but wanted to get some feedback on this particular take on the piece. Thank you all for your interest in my music and I hope something about this new work might speak to some of you. I'd love to hear your feedback either way.
