About Us

The Bobby Jones Family started their ministry in the late 90’s with Bobby, Betty and their son Curtis. After moving to Columbus and returning to their hometown in Ohio, Betty and Bobby took on the roles of choir director, guitarist, and pianist for their home church for over 4 years. God has once again called them to “Go out in the Highways and Hedges and Compel Them to Come In”. Our son Curtis is not traveling with us at this time due to his family and occupation commitment.
Our call is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to others by arranging appointments in churches, special events, nursing homes, revivals, camp meetings, camp grounds, fund raisers and benefits, as well as women retreats, and conferences. In her seminars and retreats, Betty enjoys using examples and scriptures that women can relate to and apply to their daily lives. She uses humor, a variety of gospel music styles, and her southern roots brings an interesting message to her audience. She is a Master’s prepared registered nurse. She has incorporated her medical knowledge and biblical scriptures into her conferences on women’s health and wellness.
Bobby’s role is to set up and manage the sound system. He enjoys playing the guitar, meeting people and traveling. His experience in fixing small engine repair makes him and excellent fit for maintaining the vehicle and the equipment. In the past, he managed The Bobby Jones Family radio ministry in Norwalk Ohio for almost 10 years. He had a passion for playing compilations from a variety of groups in southern gospel, country gospel and bluegrass. He has attended sound classes at the Dr. Charles Novell School of Music. Betty has attended the school as well and has taken voice, music theory and song writing. We would like to invite our friends to attend the school at Murray State, Kentucky in July. The most important part of our mission is to win lost souls to Christ, to help those that are hurting and to minister to the sick. We operate on a freewill love offering with the notion meeting our expenses. However, we want to be a willing vessel to minister to those in need.
